Phillip R. Garbig


Phillip R. Garbig has been practicing law in Arcanum since 1985.  Phil has lived in Darke County all of his life and is proud to represent his friends and neighbors in a General Practice with focus on Estate Planning and Probate, Business issues and Real Estate matters.  As Darke County is one of the largest agricultural counties in the State of Ohio, Phil has established a substantial practice in areas of law that support the agricultural community, such as estate planning, business formations and real estate transactions.  Phil received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Ohio State University in 1975 and worked in the real estate industry until 1982.  He then graduated from Capital University Law School in 1985.  He is licensed to practice law in Ohio and in the US Federal Court for the Southern District of Ohio.  

Phil and his wife Karen reside in Arcanum.  Phil and Karen have three children, Caroline R. Schmidt, Aaron Benjamin Garbig, Zachary Stephens Garbig (deceased) and six grandchildren.  Phil and Karen are members and actively involved in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where Phil is serving as the Branch President.
